Noticed a lot of growers take real quality photos on here, so I decided to step my game up and get a used entry level canon.
Just curious as to what lens you guys like to use (wide/macro, I don't know any others )
I'm completely clueless when it comes to photography, but I have the camera figured out for the most part

I'm jelly Josh. I'm stuck with just my camera phone, it dont do to bad but not like the above. I had a cannon, not a SLR type, but top of the range digital and it was amazing, I can only imagine what sort of pics you will get with the above. I'd be real interested to see what you could do with a macro lens.

Good to hear man. I can't wait to tidy my journals up a bit, I might just need your help uploading them to the site. Should I go with the smallest size possible? There's a few to choose from when I take the picsKeeno wrote:I'm jelly Josh. I'm stuck with just my camera phone, it dont do to bad but not like the above. I know the page loads slower with larger pics, correct?

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

You can use the largest mate. The gallery will displace a smaller image in actual posts to stop long loading times depending on the members download speeds. But your high quality image will be saved safe and sound to your gallery. Any issues let me know.

Re: What lens/camera are you using?
Thanks for chiming in Marcus, even though I have no clue what any of that means I'll be tinkering today and trying to upload a bunch of picsMarcus wrote:Nice,
I use an old Fuji X100.
Fixed 23mm lens (works out about 35mm in old camera money) got a macro function for getting closer and white balance for stupid spectrums fo light. Works a treat.
I normally just use the jpeg out of camera set to about 2Mb. Dunno if that should be less for the site?
