Not many know the back story of how this place began, but without Aspie, it certainly wouldn't have. Aspie was the eyes and ears of this place from day 1, an integral part of our GR420 family, and a friend to many here.
Aspie was a dear friend, we butted heads on many occasions, but nobody would tell me straight the way he did. We've all seen his passion. Aspie wasn't a man for beating around the bush, everything he did here, he did for the better of the community. I know Aspie worked tirelessly for all of us, much of the work unseen. He continued to do this up to his passing. As weak and sick as he was towards the end, he would log in daily and work on GR420 for us all.
This has hurt far more than I could have imagined. If it didn't it wouldn't be right. We've all lost someone who wanted the best for us all and worked to make it so till his last days.
I will miss you my friend. Thank you for all you did for us all, and for being a true friend to me even through difficult times on here and in health. I love you Aspie, I am happy you are no longer suffering and can finally get some peace.
I know you'll be telling the big man upstairs how to run things, and I know you'll be having a giggle that I had to use that bloody avatar for this post, it always drove me mad. I've missed seeing it around the place and always will, as I will miss you my friend.
