Coming back from a dead plant.

Post by Polarman_4 »

first Time grower, and I screwed it ip from the get go. Needless to say I was totally unprepared for what goes in to growing a female. My little experiment ended about like I’d expected, but I didn’t want to let go,so I came here, talked to a couple guys running this show, and they have helped me turn 1 half dead plant and 1 overfed youngin into 3 plants now growing like crazy! Although the beginning of a new start on this grow.
Pics will follow soon!
Every day make it a point to learn something new! 🌱🌿🌴🌲

This is the cutting I took from it. This plant is 60+ days old and has barely produced and leaves or height. Mainly because I didn’t know what I was going. Until I talked to camkush and Keeno. Keeno walked me through preparing my first basic clone. So far, she’s still growing and is looking stronger each day.

This is that same plant I cut the top half from to keep it going. Didn’t hold out hope for the bottom half, but went out earlier and seen it wasn’t dead,so I kicked the lights and fan back on. Walked out to look, and as you can see, she’s growing and pretty fast. She has 2 colas now. Each day is a learning process, and the willpower to just leave them alone and let them work!

Hello Polarman. Well done to not giving up on a plant. It is easy to keep a plant healthy but it's much more difficult to recover it so fair play mate. Everything is looking top notch and yes you're right. Every day is a new day and we learn something new. If you have any questions mate, don't be afraid to ask.

Figures.... it seem as though every decision I make with these damned plants is the wrong one!

Argh crap news looking pretty sorry for themselves :(.
I take it you still got the mum? Maybe try and work her a bit to build her up ready to flip.
If the mum is dead start again and we're get you through it I'm sure..

I gotta stop and slow the hell down. I didn’t take into consideration that the leaves were still nice and green, and that it wasn’t crispy or shriveled up, just came and checked on her and she’s coming back,I don’t expect much if any growth the next couple of days whilst she recovers from my fuck up.

So this is what I have going on now. The one in the cup I thought was dead for sure. It kinda stalled out like the one in the bucket did at first. The leaves aren’t very big,I know, but given the hell I put this plant through so far , I am surprised it’s even alive. 3-4 days after cutting the top off,and I let it sit with just the moisture in the soil,it’s it’s began to take off. When lights out comes,I’m gonna spray all of them with a foliar fertilizer to see if they can get a little boost. The top half is in the hydro garden thing beginning to root,so I’m leaving that one alone and letting nature do it’s thing. I thought for sure it was dead this morning,as the hours pass, she’s beginning to perk up,and growing new leaves.

Everything looks perky mate. That cutting looks like she is coming back to life as well..happy days mate. Do you foliar feed your plants during lights off period?
