Anyone turning their lights down for tomorrow's heat wave?

Post by ohlordyeah_420 »

Put mine on 50% this evening (from 90) to keep the temps from going above 95f or whatever (I use Fahrenheit because my thermometer is stuck on that setting) tomorrow. Anyone else doing the same or just cruising and turning fans up?
I'm on water only at the moment and plan on chopping either Friday or Saturday so am not really concerned but just wondering out loud???

In the loft grow it gets really hot, I've left the hatch open and it's drawing cooler air up. Made a difference.

Tonight I'll turn it back to 60-70% and tomorrow evening back up to 90. Coming to the end so some leaves are crisping up anyway

We have had temps of 106 for two days and near 100 for weeks. I planned ahead and grew enough to get through the Sacramento summer month's heat. I fought it last summer and decided not to try again. Figure to start again September 1st. I'll be able to control temps easily during veg and the cooler weather at flip time will be better.
