Looking for suggestions

Thinking about getting another grow going soon...problem is the loft is like an inferno during the summer months

Does anyone have any experience with growing in high temps or have any suggestions as to strains that might be more tolerant of the heat?

The only 2 things I can think that would make a hot loft situation better is insulation to keep heat out and lots of airflow from a cooler room downstairs, obviously aircon but that would get expensive.

Insulate Flip, not really another option. That YBS super quilt is a good option to start.

Dunno if it works but you can get that stuff vitalink chill, might be wirth having a butchers at if you cant get the super quilt insulation up

I agree with the tips. Also if electric is a issue make a ice diy cooler ac unit.. super easy and works well I’ve used them while camping.

How hot does it get? I grow in a loft. When I had hps it was horrible. With leds I think the plants actually prefer it hotter and have been up to 34c this summer so far, maybe more, and the plants continued praying throughout.

Agree with this when my hole in the wall gets up into the 30+ they do seem happier with the led. I'm guessing the warmer environment allows for the lack of infra red provided by led and raising room temp compensates for the lower leaf temp
