Learnt it the hard way thread
Hi,
Thought it would be nice to have somewhere to share those lessons you learnt the hard way.
I’ll start with, I just learnt the hard way to switch off extraction fans in the loft before removing ducting from filter in the tent.
It takes two seconds to unplug the fan or 20 minutes climbing around in the loft in my dressing gown to remove the bit of tape that got sucked up.
Lesson learned

Don't spill ph down on the sunglasses you use to fuck about in the tent when the hps is on.
Burns like fuck.
I now use apple cider vinegar as ph down and bicarb of soda to get it up.

Re: Learnt it the hard way thread
I've knelt in spilt ph down at the beginning of summer and then spent the entire summer explaining chemical burns on my knees. Saying its carpet burns shuts people up
I'll add to the list l: I zip myself in and check for light leaks in between every grow as after i grew myself a million seeds I noticed afterwards I must have knocked a hot lamp into the side and burnt a hole right where the one of the attic spotlights was situated.

Don’t keep a pre mixed jug of ph down next to your resovoir…. Knocking it in and having to re mix 100lt of feed isn’t the best

Don't leave 100w cob lights face down on microfiber rags and then turn them on to test. Took me ages to scrape melted nylon off the Len's.
