Seed trading?

Post by SteveMcqueen »

Massive apologies if this question isn't allowed BUT.. Does anyone know if there's anywhere that allows trading of Seeds? I've built a big collection of Seeds and I want to keep on growing it, find some nice strains. Seems to be difficult finding anywhere in the UK that allows trading. It must be out there somewhere!

Not many places are going to allow it, because people are too untrustworthy and untrusting. People switch out seeds and people think seeds are switched out too much. Get on Strainly or breeders and seedbanks Discord’s. Plenty of people looking for trades on those.

Thankyou mate, its a real shame when there's genuine people just trying to trade out a few. Tried strainly but it's all oversees. I'll try find some discords. Cheers

Main worry would be giving out address' to people who are basically strangers when they can also see via your diary you got 40 oz's of dank growing in your attic.

Nice idea though. Be cool to swap out old beans.

"I fucking hate harvesting. I like planting the things and watering them, and looking after them, talking to them. I don't like fucking harvesting."

"You like smoking them, though."

"Oh, I like smoking them."

We don't allow it unfortunately. As mentioned above it's more about security than anything else. We advice that nobody exchanges any private details given the hobby we all enjoy.

You can indeed grow your seed collection here though most members have large seed collections as we have thousands of seeds available here through the points system and other events we do here pretty regular.

Appreciate that @Keeno Its a shame people would jump at the chance to take advantage, like you said. It's a Hobby we all enjoy. I get it though. You see the USA trade scene thriving yet us Brits don't trust our own neighbours.

do you trust your neighbours?? One day it may work but due to the legal side in the uk, it would be risky to risk your op to trade beans. You'd need a po box to be safe as being sent far away for you grow but still not 100% safe in my eyes atm.
