Light A Week Will Be Changing

Wassup GR420, we will be changing light a week in the near future. The entry requirements will be changing from number of posts to completed or current grow diaries on the forum. We have given out over a hundred LED grow lights in our time as a forum and we want to do many more. The light a week promotion is paid for by the forum itself and its a costly one. Our goal when we started was to give our members the tools to grow and I think we do that quite well and I'm always looking for ways to get more seeds and kit for our members to be able to use and grow with. That being said these prizes should go to active members who use the forum for its main purpose, growing. Unfortunately with anything that involves free , high price or sought after items there will be people who are only interested in these items.

I think we can be proud of what we have achieved to this point. over 100 lights, 10's of tents and over 5,000 seeds have gone out to our members in 3 and a half years. And when I say proud I mean all of us, I couldn't get what I do for a empty forum. Its now time to make sure these items and giveaways go to the people who help build this community and not to people who log in only to get these items.

We will outline the new entry requirements in the first light a week competition this new set of entry requirements is used for.

This is a fair and valid point tbf.
This has to be by far the best forum I'm on and have started to pull myself off others as I have been struggling filling out all the diarys I had started everywhere ect

Letting this run finish off then theres only 2 places I'll be having diarys going to make it alot simpler for me lol

Totally agree mate.
When I started growing I tried a few forums for advice.
The only one I got help from was GR420 and I've stuck with it.
I've won seeds, propagation tent and loads promo stuff.
I love coming on here for the laugh's and information.
GR420 is the only forum I use now.

This place feels like home. Honestly I’ve looked into other forums with the same outcome, I end up saying to myself this isn’t GR420 I’m out of here. This forum is one I enjoy diving into.
