Outdoor growlights

Post by The Irishman »

This might be a silly topic but it's something I have been thinking about since I have recently just received my greenhouse and about to erect it and position it in my garden. But since I live in an area with a small back garden I'm worried that no matter where I place the greenhouse there will be times in the day the sunlight just does not hit the plants. I was wondering is there any outdoor growlights that can supplement the light when there is no sunlight. Iv had a look online and can't really find anything specific for what I am looking. When I type in outdoor waterproof growlights I can only see indoor leds

Or Is this just something growers don't do?

Mine is gonna be stuck between a shed and a fence lol the plan was to grow my own organic fruit and veg so has to be top quality produce. I would gladly put a light or 2 in there and just have them on a timer to suit the natural sunlight. It's just finding the right light and also the best ones there is for outdoor greenhouses Image

Any light rated at IP67 or more would be fine in a greenhouse.
I've got some cob lights that are IP67 and apparently you can drop them in a bucket of water and they'd be ok.
Can't say I've tried it though

Wouldn’t it be abit sketchy with a lit up greenhouse in Ireland which if possible seems more policed than in England?
