Re: Coming back from a dead plant.
When it’s time to kick the lights back on I’ll post pics of my little setup. And before anyone starts in on my lights not being right and all this,I already know,I haven’t been able to order my lights so I haven’t bothered to hang up the ones I have now. During the move my plants looked a little droopy. I’m hoping it’s because they are sleeping. Pics will follow a little later. I AM going to have to figure out an air extraction setup without paying 300-400 bucks for it. Later tater!!
Every day make it a point to learn something new!

Re: Coming back from a dead plant.
Here’s the room. It’s really small with stuff in there. It’s about 8ft y’all at the highest point. 5ft wide, and roughly 9-10 feet in. Heavy duty plastic hung from the ceiling and and walls. 1200+ sq ft of plastic for that small area. As soon as I got the walls done it was sweltering in there. My shirt was soaked and my hair looked like I got a shower almost immediately. It’s around 60 degrees outside, about 85 inside. Got a wood palled to sot my buckets on for good drainage. Got 2 fans in there now. Most def going to need to finds means of extraction for sure. But there is is,instead of hundreds of dollars,I spent about $35 all together. I know it’s not the prettiest, but so far it functions.

Re: Coming back from a dead plant.
So here she is in her new home. This fucker has taken off! Not even a week since I cut the head off and she’s exploded. The leaves were about 1 inch and there were a couple of them. Now,I think she likes her new pot,her new soil, and her new home. I still need lights. And really gonna need an extraction setup too. The girl in the cup is rooting nicely, beginning to see roots through the side of the cup. She will go to a bucket soon too so she can take off as well.

Re: Coming back from a dead plant.
Sorry for the delays guys,my phone has turned into a piece of crap. But here we go. First full 24 hours in the room and they are doing amazingly. The little guy goes into a bucket tomorrow since I can see roots through the sides. The original bottom half is growing fast. I’m considering doing that scrog thing? Maybe? I dunno. The only thing that worries me is the leaves only have 3 points on them. Hopefully they’ll grow in the right way in the next couple of nodes.

Re: Coming back from a dead plant.
Sorry my thread isn’t more complete. My phone has turned into a piece of shit all of the sudden. My cutting isn’t looking good. I had hoped it would be a little perkier than it’s been. But let’s see how the grow room suits her. I do apologize if I have seemed a little testy lately. A lot going on at home and I shouldn’t have brought it here. The grow room and setup I have today is because of everyone here. I had to take a step back and get my shit together before I let the stress consume me completely. Anyway. So far the room is great. The plants in the soil are continuing to grow every day,and once I get some good lights,I think I’ll be set!! Sorry to make this post nothing about my dead plants.....

Re: Coming back from a dead plant.
So this shit just happened. It’s been raining all day,so I went to check my room flor leaks, sure enough. I could have let a hose run in there for a couple of minutes and done the same thing. Then, during my attempt to fix it,one of my smaller lights fell onto my plant and of course it landed directly on one of the colas snapping it off. I cut the end, shaved a little off the sides at the bottom and put it into water. So let’s see what happens next. I guess it’s back to the drawing board. Wasted an entire box of plastic and staples to get this room set up for 35 hours later to find it’s a failure.....I am actually glad I didn’t put up $200 lights in there,I’d be fucked right now.

Re: Coming back from a dead plant.
Not at all. I guess I shouldn’t get too upset about it. I knew the roof leaked back there, when it stops raining I’m going out there to clear off the roof and put a tarp over the holes, at least it’d be dry in there. I got hasty trying to set it up.Clunge Muncher wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2017 6:17 pmOh mate your not having a good time atm are you, dont worry its happened to most of us lol.
