Re: Who is your favourite breeder?
I'm fond of seedsman seeds, I've never had a fem fail me. I also dig msnl for their white lsd fem seeds. I ve also used growers choice for a white widow. I've had zero issues with these companies.

Re: Who is your favourite breeder?
I don't think much of their own stock. They sell other breeders too, but way more expensive than other sites. I was looking for a particular strain. They were almost £10 more than elsewhere. It pays to shop around.countrytoker wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 2:56 amI'm fond of seedsman seeds, I've never had a fem fail me. I also dig msnl for their white lsd fem seeds. Re: Who is your favourite breeder?
I've only grown from a few breeders through to flowering, dutch passion ( auto glueberry og & auto nightqueen), seedstockers (bcn critical), greenhouse (francos lemon cheese), growerschoice (ko kush & purple dosi punch), barneys (dosi 33, gorilla zkittlez & purple punch) the only one i really had any problems with was the purple punch from barneys which i managed to hermi. Out of that lot i deffinately found the critical to be the easiest to grow, the dosi 33 and the kush was the strongest and the auto glueberry og was the tastiest. I need to grow alot more different breeders/strains to have a proper opinion. Oh i did female seeds cinnamon a few times in a previous life, that wasn't too bad actually iirc

Re: Who is your favourite breeder?
A little controversial, but how much does ethics come into it in your choice of breeder?
There are some popular European breeders that I will refuse to use for reasons like they have ripped off other peoples work, or have polluted indigenous gene pools by exchanging their hybrid bottle necked genetics for local landraces that they will make millions from in the future.

Re: Who is your favourite breeder?
Zero problem unless they are total tools or puppy murderers.
However, I do like the ethos of some breeders, such as Ace and that is what makes me like them, they aren't just breeding the same old muddy gene pool. Most "sativa types" are haze or durban and their offspring.
They're actively trying to keep it genetically diverse with their work.
These guys aren't just copying other commercial breeders following the latest hype for the dollar dollar bill y'all.

Re: Who is your favourite breeder?
Not enough experience yet to have a favourite but just put some tastebudz seeds reefereshers and cannacotta in to soak. Anyone grown from this breeder?

Thats good to know about Ace, haven't run their seeds before.Marcus wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 6:59 pmZero problem unless they are total tools or puppy murderers.

You nailed it though Marcus, keeping it genetically diverse. The criticisms of modern hype strains is that they have a ceiling, you can only get so high and that the genetics are getting bottlenecked. Continue like that for a few more decades and we'll be left with homogenous trash.
Nice to see the resurgence of NL5 on this site, but from experience, modern NL doesn't touch the original seed line.
Right, apologies, I'm off the soapbox, broken it up and burnt it.
Normal service now resumed.

Re: Who is your favourite breeder?
My current favourite it’s twenty20 Mendocino. Think it’s because I found my first unicorn with them as that strain was like nothing I’ve had before or since. Pure head spin like you been on the The waltzers and the confusion you forget what your doing and you couldn’t Concentrate.
