The research on how to use and replicate these cells was done on a foetus yeah, and the cells they can now create based on that research are still used today, but not 1 actual foetus cell is used in any vaccines. They can grow an ear on a mouse, a heart in a lab, a baby in a test tube (made that one up) so growing a few protein cells to wrap around an RNA strand isnt going to be too difficult I dont think.grownnotflown420 wrote: I believe what Dave is referring to is the discovery/ initial testing and research of the MRC-5 cell which he is absolutely right in saying it came from a male foetus lung cell, big up for that @KrazyDave you've done your research.
However, ask your GP and they will tell you these exact cells are still used today in many vaccines, polio, hepatitis to name a couple. but its not just vaccines, skin care products etc also contain some questionable things... EGF made from fibroblasts from foreskin... NICE lol
For me, my issue lies with being misinformed, and the gov of any nation has a habit of misinforming their nations which of course is amplified by media outlets blowing everything out of proportion. But i don't trust a single thing to come from any govt establishment or any pharma company for that matter. They profit from you being ill and needing treatment, where is their incentive to ACTUALLY cure somebody? Especially with them being protected from prosecution/ civil lawsuits for medical negligence?

Cheers KeenoKeeno wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 4:49 pmWell said mate.grownnotflown420 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 4:45 pmHorrible truth is that's what these things do to communities, divides them. Too many people feel they have to be right and their opinion is the correct opinion and everyone elses is wrong.
but we're all different and every single one of us walks a different path, and its that path that influences our opinion.
Opinions are formed by things far greater than TV etc its just a contributing factor.
I think Dave said he's leaving the thread to prevent a fall out

Yep, if you wash pink sock(covid) with white socks (standard flu) You get lots of pink socks. Not bunches of white and pink.

The problem is opinions are just opinions yet people think their opinion is a valid argument against medical facts.grownnotflown420 wrote:Where have I missed your point dude? If people didn't get so uptight about things and was open hearted to the fact that we all have differing opinions there'd be less hostility in the world.
We're ALL HUMANS, we're not ALL KRAZYDAVES
Embrace differing opinions bro truth of the matter is people will think whatever the fuck they wanna think, if people want to disregard your extensive research using medical documentation etc, then they are going to man regardless of what is said by anyone. Not everyone can be educated.
You missed my point because it's not the actual cells from the foreskin or foetus that's used. They used those parts in research to figure out how to use a certain type of cell found in the part in question. They then recreate those cells. I promise you, no ones foreskin is used in face cream and no foetus has ever been used in a vaccine.

No such thing as "Fact" bro... just because something is in black and white recorded as "medical research" doesn't make it factKrazyDave wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 4:53 pmThe problem is opinions are just opinions yet people think their opinion is a valid argument against medical facts.grownnotflown420 wrote:Where have I missed your point dude? NOTHING is EVER fact
Truth of the matter is I honestly couldn't care less what is and isn't used.
the points i'm trying to express is we're all entitled to think as we please etc and that there's no need for hostility, or shouting comments such as "wake up" to one another

Agree whole heartedly with you Mrs B (not on rugby though).Mrs Beefheart wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 4:51 pmCalm it down please guys I don’t wanna lock the thread and have ppl falling out , everyone has their own opinions play nice please
These topics are always going to bring up emotions. I stay out of them normally as this topic has effected me and my family considerably. That being said everyone has a opinion and is entitled to it. That's what forums are for. All ill ask is people think a little before pushing opinions and please respect that their opinions are not everyone's opinions.
Its Christmas, we are stoners. Let's all chill and try make the best we can of the end of a shit year for everyone.
