I would go flood and drain bro, I just simplified all my grooms and it was the best decision I've ever made! My chiller is now collecting dust

I can't stand rdwc/dwc too many chances for disaster to strike

Marcus your a star.
Now... Ive to see billy tomorrow anyhow as he won some stuff the other day. I will just have to persuade him into helping since I know he has like 10000000 totes in his cupboard :p
I have 40mm pipe....
We shall come up with something. I like the lack of airstones, GG had said they need them but I wasnt so wure tbh and actually considered a pump and a gentle waterfall setup.

40mm solvent weld works out at best price per size i used it on my last system and it all worked ok but anything bigger seems to double up in price as you go
Could you please send me a link to the solvent welds please. I really want to build my own system

the airstones were the loudest thing in my room as they just hummed on the bottom of my totes last time vibrating for days until i worked out where the extra hum was coming from.

im hoping to get my last system back up and running in the next couple of weeks its just a little 4 pot diy undercurrent setup but does the job and will be the base for my next 6 or 9 pot system in the new year

im wondering if a venturi with an air pump attached going into the header tank would keep enough D/o in to draw through a couple of undercurrent buckets and get put back into head tank again replenshing it with more air from the pump ?
thinking if it works once net pots are rooted out and in the water there would be no real need for spray bars or airstones in the totes if D/o is at high enough levels in the last set of pots, before it gets pumped into the head tank again

i tried this, but the sound of the water, falling could be heard outside my house, honest.
