So I got my Budbox..and I've already seen signs of rust on one of the brackets, and the hanging bars around the hooks have a lot of paint missing.

How do the Green Qube poles compare? They seem a lot more coated on the photos?

Not sure what to do at the moment. The Budbox poles have minor and some major scratches over them which makes me think they're easy to get damaged. In a humid environment this will rust pretty quickly.

Argh!!

If it's new and has marks already through no fault of your own, I'd be sending it back for a replacement I don't use either so can't really comment. My go to for tents is Black Orchid
Thanks, I'm thinking the same at the moment. It's not the first one I've had with rust, the first one was a lot worse from a different seller. Why can't things be easy!

I have a no frills eBay then I got for about £40 with white bars, they've been through some pain, but no rust even after about 5 years!

I really like the white lining on the bud box, but after having two tents with signs of rust; something isn't right.

Gutted. My bud box hasn't got anything like that.

Get your money back if you can.
It should be in perfect condition.

I thought it may have just been me being picky. But if the bars are galvanised to protect from rust, and the paints peeling off and signs of rust are beginning to appear before use..then I dont feel it will last as long as it should. I guess I should look for a GQ now.

Thanks all for your help

Where did you buy yours from? Looking at the plastic bags in the box, they've been scraped and scuffed so doesn't really look like they take care at the factory

I got mine from one stop grow shop. The box was in immaculate condition when we got it.

I've had both GQ and bud box tents personally I prefer GQ
In terms of the poles, are the GQ ones coated more? The Budbox ones seem to have a very thin coating on the bars

Both good tents. I have the budbox 75x75x160 and personally I think its better than green cube. I think the zips and materials are superior imho
Are the poles on the GQ coated better than the Budbox? That's where I'm seeing quality issues at the moment. Any exposure to water and it will rust due to the damage. I really like the white walls, but if my poles are going to rust quickly, I think the GQ maybe a better investment
