Mine were whiter than in the pic. I don't know if it's because there were white, or because they were on a white paper towel that made them look whiter.

Thanks for confirming they were. I've no idea how they came to be. I did check on them both about 5 minutes ago. I couldn't see any mites on them. I will look again later.

I've never had them before. Thrips on an outdoor grow, and fungus gnats on a few of the early grows I did, but not these.

I wonder if they came from seeds, or water? Very odd. I have no experience with them sorry.
The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

That is one thing I thought of. The box hadn't been opened, so if that is the case, they came from the factory with them on. I am totally flummoxed but they have gone now. I think they fell off when I put them back into soak.

I wish I could, mate, but it happened hours ago. I only saw them under a loupe, so my camera wouldn't have managed to get them.

That's the puzzling thing, mate. The box was sealed. The water from straight from the tap, the flask cup was clean, and the paper towel fresh out of the packaging.

I wondered if there were eggs on the seeds and the water brought them to life. Not even sure if that's possible, but it freaked me out last night. I'm turning into Howard Hughes now.

I am so pleased there's no sign of them this morning as I am weeks behind in growing.
