Re: Are CBD flowers still illegal in the UK?
CBD products have always confused me if I'm honest. As far as I was aware, on it's own, it doesn't have much psychoactive effect but helps patients with all sorts of medical conditions like seizures etc. Saying that, I also read a patient diary where the guy had bad epilepsy and he concluded that CBD didn't help him on it's own and he needed the real thing to stop the seizures. I'll see if I can dig up the article.
It seems all the "benefits" like helping insomnia and other medical benefits came when the product started to become popular. I think Dutch Passion now sells legal buds @ hxxp://cbdweed.com (sorry if links are prohibited). I can't help but think a lot of the information came from marketing.
More research is needed to estsblish the real medical benifits of CBD and to rule out the placebo effect IMHO. Personally, I wouldn't waste my money on these legal buds.

Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

It hasn't helped me with insomnia. I wish it would, and it may do with others, but not with me.grumpygrower wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 7:51 amIt seems all the "benefits" like helping insomnia and other medical benefits came when the product started to become popular.
Never give advice. Wise men don't need advice. Fools won't take it.

I agree about keeping you awake, but I do believe it does/can help in other areas.Marcus wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 8:43 amI used to use it to make hemp tea Nooky, these guys are obviously buying it and trimming it themselves and making a fortune off the CBD bandwagon. Buggers.
CBD is a stimulant I've found. Much in the same line as caffeine. It keeps me awake at night, even 1:1 THC:CBD weed.
I really do believe the CBD hype is a load of horse poop and the market's been invented to test the water with the law and legalisation of proper dope.

Makes me drowsy..... but I have tried different types/retailers and had mixed results.
Simply CBD seems quite good, as does Hope CBD.
These are both concentrate oral sprays for tongue, or under tongue. I have also tried a high CBD strain but with THC - Cindy Jock and it was lovely.
Aspie, If you want to sleep try Exodus Luton cut - sends me straight off if I close my eyes ( even if I dont after 15 mins my eyes are so nearly shut I can barely see the TV tbh ). I also find Blue cheese similar.

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Nothing helps, mate. I've even tried wanking myself to sleep. 54 years of this, but my latest medication is making it harder still.Nanook of the north wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 8:58 amAspie, If you want to sleep try Exodus Luton cut - sends me straight off if I close my eyes ( even if I dont after 15 mins my eyes are so nearly shut I can barely see the TV tbh ). are you active? I find it harder when I am stuck in my seat all day due to my knee tbh. I also stopped drinking coffee/tea etc after 1500

Not really, mate. Spinal problems, COPD, asthma, and other things. Even when I was able bodied, I found it hard to sleep.Nanook of the north wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 9:02 amare you active? I don't drink tea or coffee. I did try that Red Bull once, when I needed to be awake. I fell asleep within 20 minutes.
Even when I do nod off, it's only for, on average, 1.5 hours.

People have said that before about me, but weren't referring to the sleep. :D
It's apparently an aspie trait. Even RSO didn't help.
I'm not taking RSO or CBD for sleep, but was hoping I would get this side effect.
