Re: Gas?
True story dude. We're on lpg at home and the last two winters have cost me about £200 to heat the house for the five coldish months. This year with electric shooting up I'll be installing a wood burner with a back boiler for heat and hot water, and solar with battery storage that will charge up at night when the rates are lower. It's no joke how everything is getting more expensive now. Was looking at electric vans until the rates went up... Now I'll stick with my diesel.

Mrs Trunk has a petrol Honda Jazz and is now getting a 100 miles less from a tank full with this new gnats piss petrol.
The government is raking it in extra duty.
Time to give the Oiks a tax break.

Re: Gas?
We're doomed pal. We've got a pm looking for a churchillesque legacy moment to feed his ego, and Vlad the Impaler trying to make his presence felt around Europe and across the pond. All in all I'm not hopeful for prices coming down any time soon and politicians don't give a monkeys about us oiks. They see us as a herd to be managed for their profit. Definitely a need for a financial crash and a reset.Treetrunk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 4:16 pmMines is a diesel and I'll stick to it.GHO wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 2:58 pmTrue story dude. We live on the coast and it would make sense. For a 10k system which is enough to power a house apparently. The cost would be £30k plus you need planning permission.
