The price of electricity is rising like a mother fucker too, surely the price of weed needs to increase soon too. I'm getting quote of almost triple my current deal. £400 a month for electricity to run 480w of light. What the actual fuck.....

I feel the pain mine standing charge per day going from 28p to 51p so for the year it’s going up by £399.69. Gas on the other hand up per year by £820. Might not use a lot gas this year now

This year with electric shooting up I'll be installing a wood burner with a back boiler for heat and hot water, and solar with battery storage that will charge up at night when the rates are lower. It's no joke how everything is getting more expensive now. Was looking at electric vans until the rates went up... Now I'll stick with my diesel.

We're doomed pal. We've got a pm looking for a churchillesque legacy moment to feed his ego, and Vlad the Impaler trying to make his presence felt around Europe and across the pond. All in all I'm not hopeful for prices coming down any time soon and politicians don't give a monkeys about us oiks. They see us as a herd to be managed for their profit. What's the cost mate? I was looking at wind power but they are big money.
We live on the coast and it would make sense. For a 10k system which is enough to power a house apparently. The cost would be £30k plus you need planning permission.
