It was shit. Not used it for weed but for other plants.

might be worth getting some flower of sulfur and dunking the clones (not including the cut site). just to be sure they havent got some pathogen waiting on the outside. i like mafoos aloe idea too
In the past you could purchase cheshunt compound, but IIRC it's banned in the UK now.

Are the sprays equal ? Could one side be getting over wet and causing the cell walls to rupture?

@Bulls you never mentioned what type of water conditions you’re using? I use RO water in my turbo cloner and I use a cap-ful clonex solution.

Distilled water works best IMO.

Try using a cap full of bleach in your water while you are cloning. Maybe not that much. It would definitely help keep things sanitary.

If it is getting mushy, are the sitting submerged in the water? What is the water temp? Sitting in water or high temps can lead to mushy stems.
No, they are not submerged in the water. They are above surface, where the sprays mist water. Temps are 18ish at the moment. I've had cloner full of roots at 30 degrees in the summer without issues. Same in 15 degrees.

Are you using them neoprene collars? They can hold a fair bit of moisture I beleive and have read they can cause a few problems sometimes. A pool noodle cut down to size would hold onto less moisture. Just a thought
Yes I am using them neoprene collars. They seem to hold mositure but never been an issue before. I might try it your way!

That's the idea of the cloner. The pump is spraying/misting them. Very successful before, not sure what happened now.

They seem equal and I keep rotating the table anyway. So all should be getting equal exposure to the mist.

I usually use tap water mate. Nothing else. Never an issue before the summer. 20 out of 20 would root within a week.

How much use has it had @Bulls ,are the misters a bit worn and spraying not misting or do they always spray like in the pic? :rain:

Maybe you've overcleaned the nozzles with that big toothpick you used that day. Like the sort of thing I'd do :stoned:

Thinking about it, I don't think the nozzles are spraying like that at the moment! i'll check tonight. I've ordered a replacement by the way. It has been used for good 3/4 years now.

I think the problem was the spray heads. I've ordered new ones that are coming today. Also I've borrowed my mate's sprayheads and some of the cuttings seems to be reacting well for now. I'll keep you updated.

New spray heads arrived. Will replace it tonight. But also, now using my mates one, roots are already showing. I will take a photo tonight.
