Yeh I've looked at getting kingspan insulation. Dont know how well it'd work with thick bunker like concrete walls and concrete floor with a tin room Not that cheap though. Saving that idea for when I'm in a more permanent position if you get me man.Growmie wrote: βFri Oct 01, 2021 6:03 pmI know this isn't really what you asked bro, but could you not find something cheap to try to somehow do a botch job on some insulation inside?(inside the shed not tent obviously lol) I don't really know much about it but would probably work out cheaper than getting a better heater. You could then maybe stick that one on a lower setting. But what do I know

Yes mate they pretty good. I have a small one that you can set to either 750w or 1500w and it works great on 750wBenjic93 wrote: βFri Oct 01, 2021 6:04 pmThey powerful enough to keep temps? I'll look into them, thanks manseymore_budz wrote: βFri Oct 01, 2021 5:56 pmI like the little caravan ceramic heaters. They're low wattage and the heat is instant so you don't use a shed ton of energy heating up oil. They work excellent being used with a controller too. You can grab them on amazon for ~Β£30

This might be all kinds of stupid but can't you just try to somehow insulate around the tent temporarily? Just so less heat escapes out of any gaps?
Another idea is potentially a heat mat? I know people use them to keep root zone temperatures warm and the extra heat would radiate upward so it might help and they are cheap as you can get one with a thermostat meant for reptiles etc.
Just a thought

Re: Recommendations on low wattage heaters?
I don't think a heat mat would make a difference mate. Outside is reach 9c. I can't see a reptile heat mat warming the tent up an extra 13c +. I've never used one tbh but couldn't imagine there that hot.Growmie wrote: βFri Oct 01, 2021 6:54 pmBenjic93 wrote: βFri Oct 01, 2021 6:09 pmYeh I've looked at getting kingspan insulation. Bro If you saw my tent you'd know it wouldn't be an easy job. Especially while there in flower. What's your ideas insulating just the tent?

Probably right mate I didn't really think of it that way. You might need to get a second heater at this rate anyway because apparently temps will be dropping by about 10C up your way soon

Re: Recommendations on low wattage heaters?
Already hitting 8c at 5am on my way to work. Shit idea trying to get another grow in before crimbo lol. I'd stop growing until I can grow in the house if I had to get a second heater. Wouldn't be worth the cost.Growmie wrote: βFri Oct 01, 2021 7:16 pmBenjic93 wrote: βFri Oct 01, 2021 7:06 pmI don't think a heat mat would make a difference mate. Outside is reach 9c.
