Well, i've taken another one for good measure although given it's well into flush it's leaves are already mottledChad.Westport wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 7:19 pmI've actually done this in the past on a few clones that weren't taking. Ultimately, they didtreesurgeon wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 2:28 pmTook a fresh cut last night. I guess that puts me back to the beginning in terms of time to root?Chad.Westport wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 9:24 pmYou'll be able to tell if the edges of your cut get brown and rigid, this typically means it could use a fresh cut. When it is still absorbing water, the end will stay soft and most of the time swell a little bit

I recently took a cutt from a flowering plant (summink im not a fan of tbh) but yes im not sure of your grow medium. But all i do is chop it and stick in it in a pot of pre-soaked coco with ferts in, i just chop a 2 liter pop bottle in half and spray inside with water every few days iff needs be, tbh it doesnt really need doing you can juzt leave it be to root once its done within g a few weeks easily, but i do spray if i dont see the condensation in pop bottle (diy humidity dome) every now n then, plants always seem to root quickly enough doing it this way and once medium is soaked in the pot it wont need wetting again till its rooted through, very fast way to root cutts me thinks and works 99 outa 100.treesurgeon wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 9:50 pmi will disregard your cynicism ha. Thanks all. I have succumbed to buying an X-treme aeroponic cloner as people claim they see roots in 7 days with these. Given the health of the leaves I don't know if there'll be anything left after a few weeks!

Update - the one on the left is the one i took 9 days ago, but cut I took a fresh cut three days ago. not much left in terms of leaves. I wonder if the sugar leaves serve a purpose here?
Took another cut that's on the right as a fail safe but given flush its leaf have a few deficiencies.
