Yeah this is something I suffered with in the out building I was growing in. Everytime I opened the bags/tubs the dryer bud would soak up the higher humidity of the environment.DIY.Rik wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 10:28 pmThere was a podcast @Keeno and @GMO did, they mentioned curing if I remember right.
If youer environment is at 70% and inside your jars is 56% don't open the jar! Unless you have a way of bringing the immediate RH in the room down to just below where you want it to be.
All you will do is add unwanted moisture.

Re: Curing methods, an experiment.....
Fibro... I apologise but you now own the 'Drying/Curing' thread that is a thorn in forum moderators sides... and has been since the 1st dope forum. EVER
My thoughts... (really high thoughts too, I may change my mind tomorrow.)
I think that the drying process has more influence over the final product than the curing process. Dry it hard and fast... 35*C for a few hours.
Burping jars is letting in fresh oxygen for compounds to oxidise.
5-9*C is optimum temps for curing and storage.
Store it dry, it will rehydrate when in the open ... and then it kicks out the funk.
NEVER open the jar till it;s needed.
After seeing and smelling dope fast fermenting in their own sweat at 40*C... My mind is being twisted away from the old ways.
BUT FUCK YEAH!!!
I'm ALWAYS UP FOR a SCIENCE EXPERIMENT!!!
