It does sound like they were targeted, the list of charges just sounds like they want to prosecute anything they can

HSO isn’t US based, no? US authorities are involved in this? HSC is the actual company based in Humboldt.DIY.Rik wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 9:41 amI think this in Spain and the US with Humboldt is just the pro anti cannabis lobbyists clenching the very few pathetic straws they have left.
That means change is only just around the corner.
See it as a good thing. There will be people currently saving a lot of these genetics in the background.
I think just sit tight and wait for it all to happen :-)

That's for them to worry about I'm more interested to see if their genetics get saved, all their years of hard work would have been lost....

No Humboldt Seed Organisation and Humboldt Seed Company are two different entities from what I know of. Pot Sistemak ran from San Sebastian and owned LaMota, DinaFem, TrimPro and Humboldt Seed Organisation.TTL wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 6:56 pmHSO isn’t US based, no? US authorities are involved in this? I'm not sure about their background or claims that they're based in California. All I know really is their domain was register in 2012 by Pot Sistemak to their head office in Spain. I can't find anything about any of their "legendary breeders" or anything else.
If you check the internet archive their website went live in Jan 2014. I thought it was strange they also said on their site "WE DO NOT SELL OR SHIP SEEDS INTO THE USA!", their phone number is Dinafems Spanish line and they use Spanish shipping companies.
Not saying their seeds were dump because they had some awesome strains but were they fabricating the background story ..... I think so :)

Cool! That’s what i thought. I think Geist Grow has something to do with HSO genetics. No clue though. Just thought I was pretty sure HSC was actually in Humboldt and HSO was not. Ha. Thanks!

Re: What actually happened to DINAFEM - Guardia Civil Raid
So I would say they may of acquired a Cali link around 2011 because if you look at Dinafem's own blog they list the launch of their "Cali line" in 2011

https://www.geistgrow.com/about-us/ Geist Grow is HSO sort of. Anyone who really likes HSO seeds can still get Geist Grow stuff. More expensive though, but just figured I’d let people know.

Did you read that? Geist Grow is definitely co-founder of HSO and a pretty well known grower over here. Has a nice operation for sure.seymore_budz wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 8:39 pmNa the guy that started it all is British. I'm pretty sure I know who it is now fooking small world! Re: What actually happened to DINAFEM - Guardia Civil Raid
Sorry I thought I did but clearly didn't so Dinafem was setup in 2005. They look like they setup Humboldt Seed Organisation in 2011. They registered the domain in 2012 although it did light up in 2010.TTL wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 8:43 pmDid you read that? The only things I can think of is either Pot Sistemak bought HSO from that guy or they just had the same name?
