First time to got stoned?

School disco i was about 14 years old, we bought a £3 strip of squidgy black red seal and pinched a crate of ale out of Thresher ale shop. We all got bolloxed and ended up spewing up outside disco. I remember it well. Eyes were rolling and my head was spinning like a mad-en.

First time was in 1995 at a mates house party, we smoked had a smoke circle under his boat shed. But I never really got stoned that first time. I felt slightly different but I didn't get what all the fuss was about. It didn't make sense because it was super illegal and I thought every time I did it I was risking brain damage.

Then in 96 we hot boxed my mates Honda civic, it was silver pearl, super frosty and dank as, we bought from this super sketchy "tinnie house", which is a council house turned into drug house. But we were drinking too, so I just got super sick and white'd out hard, ended up spewing my guts out at my mates place.

But third time was the charm. It was November 1997, just started driving. Five of us piled into Toyota GT Starlet and went to a local park. My mate had a bong made out of a plastic gaterade bottle, with green hose pipe for the stem sticking out the side, toilet paper over the top of the hose held in place with a rubber band (the wet toilet paper makes a perfect seal) and a cone made out a aluminium can, using a 50C coin to draw a circle, which you cut out with scissors and roll into a perfect little cone. My mate had a fifty bag of skunk, it was lime green and stunk to high heaven. We blazed and finally found out what the all the noise was about. We left pretty soon after smoking and it hadn't hit me. Then driving back it completely hit me, i felt dissociated from my body, like I was watching myself drive on TV. I had no idea where we, everything looked new. But the canna gods got us home. Everything was hilarious and felt right...I realised I may have found something here.

Think about 14/15, went round our pal's flat about 10 of us in there, metal window frames, single glazed... I remember the condensation on the windows, pitch black outside, whole inside of the room was white apart from a brown asbestos tiled floor, with a 100w bulb hanging with no shade on it. The blackness from outside really made the white and brightness of the room prominent.

The brothers who lived in the flat were already stoners and they'd invited us round to get us hooked on the devil's lettuce.

Would have been squidgy black stuff, that's all we smoked for years.

We listened to Hendrix vinyl back to back.

Not very eventful, but if I close my eyes I can feel like I'm back in that flat.
