White poweder meldew and spider mites
So on inspection yesterday of my plants I found white poweder meldew on some of my outdoor plants. I have sprayed soap all under the leaves on all of them just to be safe. Now anyone have any home remedies for these two issues? I plan on using milk and water tomorrow for the white powder but trying to get rid of the mites first or do in between sprays? Any help would be great. Over the years all I ever had to deal with was fungsnats . Or never realised I had spider mites lol so any home remedies would be great thanks

Re: White poweder meldew and spider mites
Maybe try some sulfur powder sprinkled on leaves and shit but try avoiding buds, but that kills spores and mites. I think you can spray it too but i wouldn`t myself cus plant can take it up if sprayed and you don`t wanna OD them on sulfur, maybe goggle that bit to check it out though see if you can safely
I here baking/bicarb soda helps sprayed on plants for mildew as well, try a milk, bicarb and a few drops of washing up liquid in a bottle if spraying buds maybe leave out the washing up liquid. Best used as a preventative beforehand tbh, summink to bare in mind for next year hey.

Re: White poweder meldew and spider mites
hi wayne its been a season of rots and moulds and tbh outdoors theres very little you can do as the spores are in every breath of wind as well as in the soil and water, whats needed is it stop bloody raining and dry out proper and maybe even a little sun,but in my garden i have lost a whole bunch of autos and tomatoes.potatoes, beans etc all have powdery mildew and or black scab i have gone for an old fashioned remedy as imo most bought from garden centre type fungicides suck theres just not enough of the active ingredients at poxy 3% so i bought thisWayne36 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 3:46 pmSo on inspection yesterday of my plants I found white poweder meldew on some of my outdoor plants. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114270369994 and use as instucted to make 4 ltrs of copper/lime fungicide known once as bordeaux mix its better than nothing and can save it spreading so far,if theres little wind when spraying it works better but ime i find it tends to dye some types of foliage blue but thats just the copper when it dries and not toxic to humans or plants in small amounts, good luck i hope weather picks up thats your best friend, peace

Re: White poweder meldew and spider mites
Thanks mate yeah it's been super super humid here last two weeks no bid rot on my outdoors yet I did spray soap and water on my plants for 3 days so far going to give them a break today took some leaves off and did see any that I can tell. Have you used milk and water for the white powder? Or the baking soda and soap ? I seen some white poder stuff at the store bud some of the plants have quite the amount of bud and dont wanna really risk it if I dont have to I wanna might try the milk but it just seems werid to me lol . Now that black scab you where talking about you have a picture ? Cuz I think I might have something like that going on. Or possibly could be soap residue left and faith in this I'm not sure exactlyduke wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 2:26 pmhi wayne its been a season of rots and moulds and tbh outdoors theres very little you can do as the spores are in every breath of wind as well as in the soil and water, whats needed is it stop bloody raining and dry out proper and maybe even a little sun,but in my garden i have lost a whole bunch of autos and tomatoes.potatoes, beans etc all have powdery mildew and or black scab i have gone for an old fashioned remedy as imo most bought from garden centre type fungicides suck theres just not enough of the active ingredients at poxy 3% so i bought thisWayne36 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 3:46 pmSo on inspection yesterday of my plants I found white poweder meldew on some of my outdoor plants.
