There's your problem mate get some canna a&b a bottle of ph down and a cheap ph pen add canna a first mix well then add canna b both at 2ml per litre then set you're ph to 5.8 and watch her take off

Thanks mate! I am a complete novice to growing and welcoming all the advice from this forum.

With the ph down, I assume you just add to the cana a&b mix gradually until the ph becomes correct?

With the ph down you have to be careful I go literally 1 drop at a time if I'm mixing 10lts of feed I'll add 20ml A&b witch works out to 2ml a litre then after mixing them I'll start to add the ph down I'll add ten drops like literally rain drops size then I'll test with the ph pen to see where I'm at until I'm reach 5.8. But anywhere from 5.8-6.0 on the ph is ok but I stick to 5.8
