I think I've screwed up on my flushing...well not intentional as I had a fixed harvest date but then time freed up so I didnt anymore. My white widow is proper swollen but Ive been giving just ph water for 4 weeks...and leaves are just started to fade to yellow now..im in soil so i guess a lot of nutrients must be stored in the plant and remain in the soil. The idea is to chop it down the same time as my haze..which is taking a while and shes on 2nd week of just water.

Trices are still majority cloudy on widow but haze has some time although I see cloudy trices the buds still have white pisitils shooting through..about 40% amber pisitils across all buds. But buds not as dense or mature as widow. New growth still green and majority of plant still green.

I'll let you know how smooth my smoke is..soon

I feel like Ive flushed too soon tho.

A bit topic amongst growers. There is no right answer it's personal preference. There is too much contention around fellow growers to make this completely bollocks.

The only thing that grinds my gears is that growers think by flushing their plants will remove excess salts from their PLANT. This should be buried with the other theories like hanging your plants upsidedown will make the THC roll to the buds and canna root tea gets your stoned :)

I grow in soil so can’t really flush I just wind the liquid nutes down towards the end until there is nothing going in but water for say the last week or so

Hmmm well when you flush your starving the plant when it's at its peak ... so it could be not good if you do it too soon I say the last week is good and it could all depend on the nutrients your using and possibly just making the plant give it its last strong pull off grabbing whatever nutrients are left in the soil... and the theory is you know if you flushed right the ash isnt black ....
