First grown in a while so on a budget until we are able to upgrade to a silent fan. Going to build an MDF box but intrigued to hear if anyone else has done this or similar and how much it had helped?

If on a budget sime old duvets tightly wrapped around them and taped up work wonders.
If hoing the mdf route go for 22mm and just stuff with cheap earthwool or similar.
