OK, you had me at "I swear by it minty", any recommendations from Amazon?grumpygrower wrote: ↑Sat May 09, 2020 11:38 pmI swear by it minty but it's personal preference. Humic and fulvic do pretty much the same thing but fulvic is more active because they are smaller. They do allsorts of good things like break bonds and make nutrients more available, stimulate root growth and improve stress resistance. It also acts as a buffer by cleaning up the plants waste. Silicon is also a plant inprover but again, it's not essential.

Thanks buddy, on a side not and not to go off topic but I only have one spare dosing pump left. Would you say this would be the thing to put on that pump or would there be something more important? Or should I just get another Ada Fruit Motor Shield and another 4 more dosing pumps?grumpygrower wrote: ↑Sat May 09, 2020 11:58 pmCheck out GHE TA Fukvic https://www.eurohydro.com/fulvic
P.S. My software should work a little better now on Mobile. Still not 100% finished but slowly getting there ;o)

You could probably use your last pump for all additives. Most will co-exist in a solution. Just a thought mind. The frontend looks awesome Minty! Great job bud, love it!!!Minty wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 12:11 amThanks buddy, on a side not and not to go off topic but I only have one spare dosing pump left. Ermm, so you mean just mix up a cocktail of what ever is required and dose that with the standard dosing schedule etc? That would certainly make things a shit load easier.grumpygrower wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 12:46 amYou could probably use your last pump for all additives. Most will co-exist in a solution. Does the front end work better for you on mobile now? Obviously still not finished and to be fair it works differently when connected to the actual system as I replaced the feedback messages with ones actually driven from the back end so that when it say's the 'pump is on' for example, the pump is actually on. Next part is to hook it up to a database and give it some state, and stats recordings functionality. I think the stats will play a large part when looking back on how a grow went etc.

On second thoughts that might not be a good idea as "additive" could be anything :) you couldn't mix silicon lots of things because its highly alkaline.Minty wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 12:57 amErmm, so you mean just mix up a cocktail of what ever is required and dose that with the standard dosing schedule etc? As for thr app, yea looks great on mobile, everything is in the correct place, the menus and buttons I was messing with and all worked as did the notification pop-up. Looks great Minty. What database are you going to use? Something like SQLite or something more full fat?

Looking at going with Node SQLite 3 as I really just need a basic datastore.grumpygrower wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 10:08 amWhat database are you going to use? Something like SQLite or something more full fat?
