New Arrivals

Post by GHO »

Evening all, not been on for a bit as I'm head down looking at new lines etc. Got some new stuff available on the website from the weekend.

Hardwood Biochar, single species birch biochar no burnt green waste or softwood. 3-8mm

Beneficial anaerobic microbes - a special sauce along the lines of the effective microbes stuff that's been around for a while. Professionally made.

Currently waiting on inline charcoal filters that will remove chlorine and chloramine along with VOCs and particulate material.

Details will be on the site along with prices hopefully for Saturday.

All the best,

GHO

I'll also be offering broad spectrum trace and macros soil tests and soil biology testing. In the process of sorting that out currently.

I'm just waiting for a quote to have them built, and the specs mate. Soon as they come back to me I'll get that sorted.

Just received the specs mate. 15000 litre throughput which is a guide based on concentration of chlorine or chloramine. Water firms do mass disinfection so add large amounts sporadically, on those days it will build up more in your filter.
The manufacturer has had to make better filters to deal with chloramine as it's much harder to remove than chlorine.
Recommended flow rate is 4L per minute you can go to 8l per minute but that will drop the efficiency of the filter.

Replaceable filter. Body has a hose fitting on either end.

Prices for the built unit are £45, £22 for the filter replacement.

If you'd like one @FX drop me a message. Stock should be arriving next week.

MMmm nice Hardwood Biochar............@GHO  :thanks: :i agree:

Biochar's History as an Ancient Soil Amendment— Biochar is a form of charcoal produced from super-heating biomass. It is found naturally in soils around the world as a result of vegetation fires. Biochar has also been created and used by humans in traditional agricultural practices in the Amazon Basin of South America for more than 2,500 years. Dark, charcoal-rich soil (known as terra preta or black earth) supported productive farms in areas that previously had poor, and in some places, toxic soils

Trying mate. Didn't like the idea of paying top buck for burnt orange peel and greenwaste.

No worries pal. I've been a bit tardy getting it all on the site but it is coming I promise. Got everything except the filters in stock and they're being built currently.
