Making plans with a stoner is like being with a prostitute. They tell you they’re coming, but you know it’s a lie.

Re: Seedstockers Bonsai Grow Off 2023
Here is my Bonsai at 9 weeks from sprouting. I've been slacking on training and the three branches are reaching hard for the light. So I started tying down up higher on the branches to try and get them a little more horizontal. (and try not to break anything in the process. ) The plant is doing really well with no issues to speak of. I'm watering/feeding it twice a day. I was worried about growing in a half a liter of soil but so far, so good.

Re: Seedstockers Bonsai Grow Off 2023
So today is 10 weeks from sprouting. I had slacked on my training and the tops were growing straight up. So I've been manipulating the branches every day to get them more horizontal. Starting to look pretty good.

Re: Seedstockers Bonsai Grow Off 2023
Well, i fucked it a little so time to improvise.
The other day i removed the plastic bottle surround. I did this so i can slowly wash away the soil in the hopes the roots toughen up enough to support the plant above the soil. No idea if this'll work, but f#@k it.
The real trouble started when i was bending the stem around the pole, it snapped.
I thought about taping it back together but because of how deep it was i decided to just snip it.
Took the top and stripped the lowest node and popped it in an aptamel pot of soil, (closest thing to hand) soaked it and put it in the drobe.
Dunno if it'll survive but ill mist it twice a day n keep the soil wet.
Still on plain water but i am planning on starting with the nutrients this weekend.

Re: Seedstockers Bonsai Grow Off 2023
This the end of week 11 (from sprouting). I've got her pulled down more horizontal and it looks much better. I'm still surprised at how well this did in so small of a container. I suppose that speaks well for the strain. Huzzah!
