Ideas and brain storm
Hey all
Like most I am never finished tweaking and slightly changing my setup. Some times its to save running cost, sometimes it's to improve plant health and sometimes it's just to see what works better
I currently flower in a loft (approaching my first summer in the setup) and veg in a cupboard located else where
I'm thinking of setting up a lil 1x1x1m veg box in my loft to save having bits here there and everywhere
First question is. I'm thinking of running my flower tent extraction through the veg box after the carbon filter to keep a move even temp. I realise this will cause positive pressure which may lead to smell leaks but besides this, can anyone see any other major issue with running the air this way?
There will be more questions to follow I'm sure but let's just get the ball rolling here for now
Thanks in advance

Re: Ideas and brain storm
Oh, I should mention, the veg box will be led so the idea is to use the HPS heat to warm the veg box before venting out the chimney

Re: Ideas and brain storm
Try getting some v shaped ducting so u can pull directly out your tents to your carbon filter rather going one through another

That's not a bad idea. I will have to rearrange the whole setup tho and get the fans outside the tentch040294 wrote:Try getting some v shaped ducting so u can pull directly out your tents to your carbon filter rather going one through another

Only issue I see initially is the wasted heat I'm trying to recycle is still just being ventedch040294 wrote:Try getting some v shaped ducting so u can pull directly out your tents to your carbon filter rather going one through another

Re: Ideas and brain storm
I cant see a isue doing it that way, as long as your getting rid of hot air through the chimney there should be no build up. as you mentioned about the led and heat not getting to bad, just keep an eye on that.

I've realised I'm wasting alot of space up there just cos I'm too lazy to go up too often

Re: Ideas and brain storm
You guys are worrying about not enough heat with an led in there ? I don't have led but if anything I need to get rid of heat /rh
If u need heat throw a hps in there lol more effective than a heater :)

Re: Ideas and brain storm
It's purely for veg so I'm happy for it to run at 35c and 80% rh tbfch040294 wrote:You guys are worrying about not enough heat with an led in there ? I don't have led but if anything I need to get rid of heat /rh
