That's gonna be a project and a half! Once done it will be amazing mate. I'd help as much as I can with my poor DIY skills and shitty advice

Re: My Loft Build.
So far im debating this as the grooms layout. I could run 2 grooms full cycle but i do like the idea of regular harvest, ill be able to get through more of the strains on my grow hit list by getting onto a cycle.
Step 1 is get the floor boarded
step 2 is get the roof and separating walls insulated and boarded.
(as per previous posts).
This will in theory give me 1 big insulated space to build the above grooms and work areas into.
All areas will be separated by stud walls, 3 x 2 inch with plasterboard and insulation in the cavities.
Areas 1, 2 , 3 will be sound boarded with 12.5mm soundbloc plasterboard on the interior facing walls.
Areas 4, 5, 6 will be board with 9m, standard board on the walls facing into the areas ill be using, the back side of the walls will be covered in a breathable material like roof felt, lightweight, and will keep the insulation in place. Ive go a huge roll of it to.
All stud wall cavities will have 100mm earthwool in them.

Re: My Loft Build.
Anyone got ideas for doors?
I thought about cutting the front of my 2.4 x 1.2 tents but tbh i would rather do without zips. Im currently playing with the idea of just using a heavy duty blanket over openings in the studwork up there. I could probably get away with actual doors opening outwards on each grow space but its more weight.

Re: My Loft Build.
I did see these when I've been looking at stuff:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lighthouse-Z ... 3036700682
Beats cutting up a perfectly good tent but I have no idea what they are like... Of course, you could go full star trek and have doors that slide open into the wall.....
