SO! - Finally pulled my finger out and ordered some ISO for cleaning the blade. A few weeks after I used it I thought - aha! its bone dry, I will hoover it!
Long story short, the house reaks of weed everytime we hoover so get a spare hoover. HOWEVER..... it hoovered 99% of the stuff off! I just need a quick wipedown now and it will be good as new - very low maintenance :)
The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.
