VersionTECH Mini Clip Fan Desk Fan
Whenever I buy stuff from Amazon, I feel as though some poor worker is being shafted, Bezos gets richer and part of my (metaphorical) soul dies, so I try to avoid it, but these little clip fans are very good so far. Small, yet powerful, has three speeds (number 3 is way too gusty for my tent) and seems well built (time will tell):

It has a battery, but needs a USB charger and I feel like a right (W)Anker for buying this too:

Re: VersionTECH Mini Clip Fan Desk Fan
Would you say they are better than the ram clip on fans buddy? I know you can get one of them for about 15£.

Re: VersionTECH Mini Clip Fan Desk Fan
I could be wrong, but reckon those ram ones are similar to the Growth Technology ones, which I also have, still use and it's pretty good, but these are much smaller, lighter, more powerful, more maneuverable, easier to position and fairly quiet - as quiet as the GT one.

Re: VersionTECH Mini Clip Fan Desk Fan
Evening!will you be running it 24/7? And what size is your space?
If they're comparable power to normal clip ons and the plug or fan doesn't get hot running 24 hours I'm going to have to look into these it looks ideal for small spaces! Every inch counts! or so my mrs says anyway

I am running it 24/7, have been for several days and it's not even warm. My space is 1m x 1m x 2m.

Re: VersionTECH Mini Clip Fan Desk Fan
Yes mate, any 3 pin mains / USB-A adaptor should be fine. I was using one that came with an old Blackberry, but had to get the one in the link I provided above due to lack of USB ports.
One thing that might bother some people is the fan does hum a fair bit on the fastest speed, which isn't that surprising, as it's such a powerful gust compared with my Growth Technology one. I have mine on the lowest speed, which is more than adequate and pretty quiet. It's in my bedroom about 3 ft from my bed, I'm a fairly light sleeper and it doesn't disturb my sleep, but horses for courses!
