Hey Gr420
Could anyone recommend a 4inch extraction duct fan that is around 150 - 170m3/hr?
With my light breaking I'm reviewing everything and I picked up a new 4inch RAM filter that is rated at 170m3/hr.
The challenge is my 4inch black orchid duct fans are rubbish, so I bought a RAM 4inch fan rated at 100m3/hr but it was so weak I never had negative pressure, but looking at RVK fans they all seem to be rated way more than the filter. I don't really want to ditch a perfectly good filter.
Any thoughts?

Re: Fan recommendation..
i personally like rhino's extraction fans they have 3 different 4 inch models a single speed, a duel speed and a thermo which has a fan speed and temperature dials.
single speed around £60, twin speed around £64, and thermo around £95
the thermo is more expensive but can be slowed down to as low as 10-20% speed

Re: Fan recommendation..
If you're looking for cheap but reliable, I've used this one for 4 months now no issues. Variable speed as well
VIVOSUN Air Filtration Kit: 4...
You might be able to find it without the filter

Re: Fan recommendation..
better knowing what size tent you are in tictok.
heres my rough guide,
if its 120 x 120x200 get a 6 inch rvk
if its 100x100x200 get a 5 inch rvk
if its 60x60x180/200 or 80x890x160/200, get a rvk 4 inch

I use RAM Mixed-Flow Inline Fan - Two-Speed
Brilliant fan moves more than enough air and it has 2 setting.
Very quiet aswel if you are trying to be discrete

Re: Fan recommendation..
Thank you all, way more choice than I thought!
The tent is tiny, just a 60x60x140
Thanks again all.

Re: Fan recommendation..
if you are planning on upgrading your tent in the near future to something a bit bigger id recommend either getting a twin speed or thermo rhino filter and just turn the fan down. you will still be able to use your smaller filter with a ducting adaptor

Re: Fan recommendation..
Agreed, my local shop has the twin speed where the lowest setting would be ideal. I think this will be the way forward. Thanks MrMan
