Street Weed under a Microscope

Not sure if this is the right thread for this post so if one of the great mods could move it if not that would be appreciated?

Just ordered (May 9th) and recieved £12.00 USB Microscope from China to be able to check the plants during flower etc. and to test it out thought I would look at the street weed I just purchased which is apparently:-

• Chemdawg £30 per 3.5 grams
• Strawberry Mimosa £50 per 3.5 grams

I still need to get some decent software to capture the images and more patience to set the camera up but...
First impressions the camera is defo worth £12 not so sure on the weed front
Personally had loads worse so until I can supply myself I am not one to complain but would you say they have been harvested too early?

I'm just throwing this out there. It almost looks like some of the resin glands have been removed. Either they weren't there to begin with or they were removed using a screen or something.
I'm a novice grower and here's one of mine. The resin glands are all on the ends of the stalks. (not sure if stalks is the correct terminology.) Maybe it's just from the weed being vacuum packed / crushed or something. Not sure.

some will take buds and a coin in a container shake it a bit knocking trichomes off collect the keef and repackage the buds. If trichomes were soo delicate making hash would be a lot easier. just my opinion but i see a lot of snapped trichome stalks. If true unfortunately theres no way to tell how many how far up the chain this happened before you got it.

I was after the same microscope, thanks Minty I think I'll pull the trigger on this one.

Are you using your phone? I believe you can get one that's android compatible, but not sure if it some with an app.

im just shocked that the OP is surprised that his street weed hasn't been left another couple of weeks to mature properly- time is money, and these people don't give a toss about the quality , they are only interested in the money.
that's why I grow my own.....

There was no intent to break any rules. I'm not selling it I was just promoting the microscope for the £12 and showing the weed purely in the interest of seeing what it should look like mate.

Are you using your phone? I believe you can get one that's android compatible, but not sure if it some with an app.

It does state it is android compatible but has a USB 2 plug on it so would need an adaptor to fit my phone.

Not surprised at all. That is actually a real good bit compared to what I mostly get and exactly why I am now growing my own.

Probably not a suitable reply but it is somewhat relevant in terms of the original post since the Strawberry Mimosas mention above has increased in price to £60 per 3.5 grams (previously £50) and that is past my personal taking the piss limit so would rather go without




Crazy, to think weed, no matter how good, is worth £60 for 3.5 grams? Don't get me wrong you guys are obviously knocking out some top class grade A buds (Josh is even rocking a few little B grades his last round ;o)

but would you say any of that is actually worth £60 for 3.5 grams? ;

I ain't fucking paying it, that is a line too far... That is a 6" RAM Filter in my NEW WORLD :O)
